Fund FocusBrandywine Fund employs Friess Associates' research-driven investment process. This process capitalizes on the relationship between earnings performance and stock prices by isolating companies experiencing rapid earnings growth that sell at reasonable multiples of earnings estimates, and show promise to positively surprise Wall Street. The Fund maintains the flexibility to pursue companies that meet its criteria regardless of market cap or industry. Portfolio characteristics, including sector weightings and market caps, result from a true bottom-up approach and do not reflect the composition of any market index. While this mutual fund maintains an all-cap focus, its rapid earnings growth requirement most often leads it to small- and mid-cap stocks with room to grow.
